Rachel Hargett understands how compelling stories and crisp communications help elevate a brand. She’s used those skills to help public officials, federal and state political candidates, advocacy organizations, and private companies refine their brand identity and deliver critical messages through paid-, earned-, and owned-media strategies.

Rachel most recently served as creative media director for Governor Ron DeSantis’s presidential campaign, a role she’d previously held on the DeSantis’s reelection campaign in 2022 that featured a historic $75 million media campaign and the largest margin of victory in state history.

Prior to her work in Florida, Rachel served as spokeswoman for George P. Bush in his campaign for Texas Attorney General, where she was responsible for developing and executing earned-media strategies. She also managed multiple social media accounts and directed all creative branding.

She also served as communications director at the Texas General Land Office, where she was responsible for media relations, issue campaigns, crisis management, digital and social media management, and facilitating TV ad campaigns for the largest state agency in Texas.

A graduate of Abilene Christian University with a degree in Communications and Public Service, Rachel and her husband, Josh, live in Dallas, Texas.
